Synopsis
The Federation faces one of its greatest threats when the Borg Collective launches a devastating assault on Earth. Despite orders to remain away from the battle due to his traumatic past with the Borg, Captain Jean-Luc Picard disobeys Starfleet Command and leads the USS Enterprise-E into the fight, turning the tide against the relentless cybernetic enemy.
Defeated in battle, the Borg attempt one final strategy: traveling back in time to April 4, 2063, to prevent humanity’s First Contact with the Vulcans. By stopping Zefram Cochrane from completing humanity’s first successful warp flight, the Borg hope to erase the Federation before it ever exists.
Pursuing the Borg through a temporal vortex, Picard and the Enterprise crew find themselves in post-World War III Montana. While Commander William Riker, Geordi La Forge, and Deanna Troi work to ensure Cochrane completes his historic mission, Picard, Data, Worf, Dr. Crusher, and the rest of the crew battle Borg drones that have begun assimilating the Enterprise itself.
As humanity’s future hangs in the balance, Picard must confront his own obsession with revenge while learning that true leadership sometimes requires letting go of hatred in order to preserve hope.
