Synopsis
The future of the Federation changes forever when a catastrophic event creates an alternate reality known as the Kelvin Timeline.
When the Federation starship USS Kelvin encounters the massive Romulan mining vessel Narada, commanded by the vengeful Nero, history is irrevocably altered. During the attack, George Kirk sacrifices himself to save his crew and his newborn son, James T. Kirk, unknowingly setting the stage for a very different future.
Years later, the rebellious yet brilliant James T. Kirk crosses paths with the logical Spock at Starfleet Academy. Their rivalry is quickly overshadowed by Nero’s return, as the Romulan seeks revenge against the Federation for the destruction of his homeworld in another timeline.

Star Trek (2009) accomplished what many believed impossible: it successfully reintroduced Star Trek to a new generation while respecting nearly fifty years of established lore. Directed by J.J.
